Sacramento DSA is hosting its first ever local chapter convention to deliberate, debate, and ultimately democratically decide the direction the chapter will go for the next year of organizing.
The deadline to submit resolutions is approaching. Please use this form to submit a proposed resolution to be voted on at the upcoming convention. ([link removed]) Deadline for submission is March 3.

Are you interested in being our chapter's next Secretary? A special election will take place on March 21, 2020 at the general membership meeting to fill the secretary position.

As a part of Sacramento DSA's commitment to providing child watch at meetings and events, the child watch working group is meeting to take the next steps in coordinating child watch volunteers, coordinators and other details necessary for creating a safe place for families. If you are a parent, guardian or care provider for children, we would love to see you there. This meeting will also be open to children to provide input as well so feel free bring any young sprouts along!

We are holding our first post-California primary meeting! Saturday, March 7 at from 2 pm to 5 pm in Room 12 at the Sierra 2 Center. At this meeting, we will talk about what we are going to do to get Bernie elected President of the United States! And we will be talking with all of our volunteers and friends who have been touched by the campaign for Bernie about DSA. If you are down with Bernie, but have been wondering what DSA is, what Democratic Socialism is, and how you can get involved, this will be the meeting for you!
