Roll up, roll up! Gandeys Circus is opening tomorrow at Wollaton Park with brand new show "Glitterati".

With a host of international artistes from across 26 nations, this brand new 90-minute production is perfect for all the family, in their heated big top theatre.

This year's acts include: award-winning circus superstars The Garcias with a giant aerial space rocket; a fantastic tower of chairs and vertical ladder with the Serbat troupe from Kazakhstan; motorbikes in the thunderdome and the sensational highwire; and the outstanding Havana troupe from Cuba performing incredible acrobatics on the springboard and bouncing gymnastics bar.

Last but not least, the Gandey dancers perform big production numbers filled with spectacular surprises.

Nottingham’s own Green Festival provides the place for everyone to learn, explore and try the latest in everything environmentally friendly and ethical, while having lots of fun in the beautiful setting of the Arboretum.

This free event runs from 12pm-6pm.

There will be numerous stalls featuring local small green businesses, craft producers, food producers, and voluntary and campaign groups.

Music is an important part of the festival and every year, talented, local artists perform on the Arboretum bandstand.

Sign up for Shine Night Walk and fundraise for a type of cancer research that is closest to your heart.

Raise crucial funds with every step, from the National Justice Museum to Nottingham Castle. Starting and finishing at Old Market Square, the route will take you through Rainbow Road, over Wilford Suspension Bridge and past the Robin Hood Statue.

People of all abilities can take part. The 10k walk will take between 1.5 to 3 hours to complete, with varying start times from 7pm.

The route will take you through the heart of the city, passing iconic landmarks like Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall, Trent Bridge and ending at Victoria Embankment.
