Outdoor Cinema: Pretty Woman
Wed 13 September Newstead Abbey
Nothing beats watching a movie under the stars with a picnic and friends. One of your final chances this year takes place at Newstead Abbey with Adventure Cinema. Watch the classic film Pretty Woman on a big screen, and enjoy music beforehand with a specially curated soundtrack of songs.
Edward (Richard Gere) is a rich and sophisticated businessman who specializes in corporate raiding. On a business trip to Los Angeles, Edward hires Vivian (Julia Roberts) to be his girlfriend for a week while he traverses the local social circles.
Love and various social complications invade their tidy arrangement and have the pair wondering if this Cinderella-story could have a happy ending.
Outdoor Cinema: Top Gun Maverick
Thu 14 September Newstead Abbey
A blockbuster outdoor cinema experience at the stunning Newstead Abbey with a showing of the incredible Top Gun: Maverick.
Feel the need... the need for speed. Top Gun: Maverick has been selling out cinemas across the world, smashing the box office and bringing a good dose of 80s nostalgia with it. It's Tom Cruise's most successful movie ever, and if there's any film that deserves to be seen on a big screen in the open air, it's this one!
You can also enjoy a specially curated soundtrack of music before the film.
This event has been rescheduled from Friday 21 July - original tickets are still valid.
