This week is National Suicide Prevention Week, and it is more important now than ever to know the suicide warning signs and to feel comfortable discussing suicide and safety with your child. The conversation may feel scary, but by talking to your teen about suicide, you can help prevent suicide ([link removed]) .

Teens who are cyberbullied are more than three times as likely to contemplate suicide as other kids. We spoke with psychologist Dr. Adelaide Robb about the connection between bullying and adolescent suicide and what you can do to help your kids.

As kids grow up, they often face stressors from school, home and life events. Stress that builds up over time can get in the way of how your child is doing day to day. As a parent, you should check in with your children to see how they are doing and to provide support.
