Dear Hunger Champion,
This month, Iโd like to invite you to be part of a program to provide fresh fruits and vegetables to children ages 0-6.
In South Africa, weโre implementing school gardens at Early Childhood Development Centers (ECDs). These gardens support long-term food security through the cultivation of fresh produce ([link removed] ) to complement Rise Against Hunger meals and improve childrenโs quality of life.

I will share an example with you: In partnership with Orange Farm Lakeside in Johannesburg, weโre harvesting vegetables and providing produce ([link removed] ) to local ECDs. But the program did not stop there โ parents also received training to start their own gardens, improving access to nutrition, food security and self-sufficiency.

Each garden can nourish up to 700 children, families and school staff. Your gift today ([link removed] ) can truly harvest nutrition and hope for small children during the most critical phase of their development.
