John,

I am so touched by how many of our supporters, like you, have posted online, made a donation, or reached out to wish me well since we announced that I’ll be moving on from the Innocence Project this coming January.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to have led this organization these past 15 years, with the benefit of an amazing staff. I am especially grateful I had the chance to work with and get to know our clients and their families, who are some of the most courageous and extraordinary people I have ever met.

The Innocence Project is poised for great things. After a year of record-breaking success in our litigation and our policy reform efforts ([link removed]) , with your support the Innocence Project will keep up the momentum built over these years and take even more steps toward making the system just, accurate and fair.
A Year of Policy Victories ([link removed])
When I move on in January, I will leave knowing the Innocence Project remains steadfast in its vision of a just system where wrongful convictions are impossible. I look forward to that day, and to the next few months of being part of this fight for justice. The work goes on.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Maddy deLone
Executive Director
