This event is part of USCRI’s ongoing commitment to serving the needs of Afghan arrivals after the evacuation.
USCRI operates the Post-Resettlement Behavioral Health Support Services Program ([link removed]) to support resettled Afghans dealing with trauma and the transition to life in the U.S. through culturally and linguistically tailored, trauma-informed behavioral health services. USCRI also manages Immigration Legal Services for Afghan Arrivals (ILSAA) ([link removed]) to provide eligible Afghans across the country with free legal services to help them navigate the U.S. immigration system.
USCRI will provide updates on these important programs, as well as the work ahead in the policy and advocacy space.
