This is really important.
I hate to be that person making "predictions."
But something occurred today that has made me think that we should step
up any last-minute preparations. I don't have a crystal ball or
anything, but...
The CDC has warned businesses, schools, and communities to prepare for
the spread of Covid19, saying, "The disruption of daily life might be
severe." (link
)
They don't give a whole lot of warnings that could cause people to
panic. This could be the last warning we get before we're told to
self-quarantine - look how fast it happened in Italy - 3 days from the
first case to the total lockdown of 10 cities, enforced with cops and
military.
By the time they make an official announcement of curfew,
self-isolation, lockdown, whatever, everybody else will be rushing to
the stores in a panic. If you need to pick up a few things, I would
suggest doing so BEFORE that announcement gets made.

I'm heading out to do a shopping trip myself, but will be around later
to check any questions in the comments. PLEASE put your questions in the
comments of this article - they will get lost in our email because we're
getting so many right now. If you have a particular question, I
guarantee you that 50 other people do too.
