This is really important.

I hate to be that person making "predictions."

But something occurred today that has made me think that we should step up any last-minute preparations. I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but...

The CDC has warned businesses, schools, and communities to prepare for the spread of Covid19, saying, "The disruption of daily life might be severe." (link)

They don't give a whole lot of warnings that could cause people to panic. This could be the last warning we get before we're told to self-quarantine - look how fast it happened in Italy - 3 days from the first case to the total lockdown of 10 cities, enforced with cops and military.

By the time they make an official announcement of curfew, self-isolation, lockdown, whatever, everybody else will be rushing to the stores in a panic. If you need to pick up a few things, I would suggest doing so BEFORE that announcement gets made.

I'm heading out to do a shopping trip myself, but will be around later to check any questions in the comments. PLEASE put your questions in the comments of this article - they will get lost in our email because we're getting so many right now. If you have a particular question, I guarantee you that 50 other people do too.
