Hi, John, it's Congresswoman Delia Ramirez.

Since I've been back in Illinois' 3rd district for August recess, I've had a blast reintroducing myself to people across the district and getting to know their top priorities.
Today, I wanted to reach out directly, reintroduce myself, and give you a better idea of who I am, where I come from, and what I stand for.
Before I do that, you should know our End of Month Fundraising Deadline is right around the corner, and I'm asking my friends and neighbors for their support. Will you pitch in any amount to help my team and I reach our goal? [[link removed]]
REACH OUR GOAL [[link removed]]
Let's get some of the basics out of the way, John.
My name is Delia Ramirez, and I've been honored to represent Illinois' 3rd District in Congress. I'm the first Latina from the Midwest to be elected to Congress, and I'm the only member between both chambers to come from a mixed-status household.
My parents are Luis and Maria Ramirez, who immigrated here from Guatemala over forty years ago and who have made incredible sacrifices so my siblings and I could succeed.
Early on, they taught me the value of helping people in your community, as we often volunteered at our church's shelter and food pantry. Since, I've worked hard to uplift our voices, first as an organizer, and then later as a representative in the Illinois House.
Now that I've been in Congress for over seven months, I've built a reputation as a strong advocate for what really matters to our residents – comprehensive immigration reform, affordable housing, and caring for our veterans.
And while I want to continue fighting for what our people need, the GOP have made it clear they'll be putting in the work to unseat me in 2024. Our End of Month Fundraising Goal is the perfect opportunity to show your early support and set my next campaign up for success. Will you donate today? [[link removed]]
