Over the weekend, our nation was ravaged by the forces of white supremacy
and gun violence once again.

For years, we’ve had the power to change this situation — to pass an
assault weapons ban, to get guns out of the hands of dangerous
individuals, and to hold gun manufacturers accountable for their
profiteering.

But at every turn, NRA lobbying and their bought-and-paid-for politicians
have stopped common-sense gun policies to protect corporate profits. And
as the only Democrat who took NRA money in 2016, people like DCCC-backed
Henry Cuellar have happily done their bidding.

Henry Cuellar received an ‘A’ rating and an endorsement from the NRA. He
fought policies that may have prevented shootings like El Paso and Dayton.
Cuellar took the NRA’s blood money, and the American people paid the
price.

Not only that, Cuellar has voted alongside Trump nearly 70% of the time —
opposing a ban on semi-automatic weapons, and supporting a Republican bill
to defund sanctuary cities.

[ [link removed] ]We need leaders who will stand up against Trump’s incendiary conduct,
not embolden it with Congressional support. Will you donate $3 to Justice

White supremacy has no place in this nation, and we must root it out
together. Anyone who emboldens hatred and xenophobia, either by stoking
the flames of racist hatred or by supporting a leader who does must be
replaced.

No one who receives donations and an ‘A’ rating from the NRA should be
able to call themselves a “Democrat.”
