For years, we’ve had the power to change this situation — to pass an assault weapons ban, to get guns out of the hands of dangerous individuals, and to hold gun manufacturers accountable for their profiteering.

But at every turn, NRA lobbying and their bought-and-paid-for politicians have stopped common-sense gun policies to protect corporate profits. And as the only Democrat who took NRA money in 2016, people like DCCC-backed Henry Cuellar have happily done their bidding.

Henry Cuellar received an ‘A’ rating and an endorsement from the NRA. He fought policies that may have prevented shootings like El Paso and Dayton. Cuellar took the NRA’s blood money, and the American people paid the price.

Not only that, Cuellar has voted alongside Trump nearly 70% of the time — opposing a ban on semi-automatic weapons, and supporting a Republican bill to defund sanctuary cities.
