Team — Just got off the stage at the first candidate forum of 2020 and wanted to send you a quick note. Tonight’s big takeaway was this: This election is bigger than me and anyone on that stage. It’s about electing a leader who can fight for our community on day one.

I’ve been proud to represent Brooklyn in Congress for 13 years, and that level of experience is what's at risk in this election. Together, we have been able to accomplish so much, but there’s still work to be done.

If we lose, we will be putting our community in the hands of a leader with little experience handling the complex problems we face today and risk losing all the progress we’ve made together.

If I’m going to head back to Washington and continue fighting for Brooklyn, I need to know you’ve got my back. We’re going up against FIVE opponents in the primary, and the only way we’re going to beat them is by out-organizing and out-hustling everyone else on the ballot.

Do you think you can chip in at the link below to help us do that?

Your support will help lead us to victory this June.

Thank you,
Yvette
