Hey North County comrades,
I went to Alex Morse’s organizing summit in Pittsfield the other day, and it was useful and informative about the ways we can work help our endorsed candidate.

Tomorrow evening (the 25th) he’s holding another one in North Adams, and I urge any of you who can make it to attend. It’s 6-7:30pm at the Feigenbaum Center for Science and Innovation, 47 Blackinton St, North Adams.

If we’re going to defeat well-funded right-wing democrat Richard Neal, we’re going to need organizing in strength throughout the county. It’s important for his campaign and our values, and it’s also important that the Berkshires chapter of DSA have a visible presence at these events; it builds credibility and it's an outreach opportunity for Democratic Socialism.

It’s also critical because whether Bernie wins the presidency or not, we’re going to need a grassroots movement with representatives in government that support the kind of society we’re committed to building, and working with candidates like Morse is the electoral path that can support that.

Solidarity!

John.
