Earlier this week, Katie returned to her roots as a social worker and attended the grand opening of a new welcome center for youth entering foster care. This new center is a safe, supportive environment for children with an outdoor playground, onsite clinic, and comfortable sleeping quarters. While visiting, Katie reassured that she’s focused on expanding services to keep Arizona families together – including addressing the housing crisis, expanding childcare, and making the workplace more accessible.READ MORE [[link removed]]

During a roundtable discussion with local law enforcement, Katie made it clear that her goal is to depoliticize the border and ensure resources are used effectively to help border communities.
