John, if you haven't done so already, I'm asking you to please join me in making a donation to the Hawai'i Community Foundation (HCF). HCF is working to support communities that have been devastated by the wildfires in Maui – and they need all the resources they can get.

The personal accounts of the fires that swept through western Maui have been nothing short of horrific. 

Thousands of family homes have been leveled. Most of the historic town of Lahaina was destroyed, and dozens of loved ones have either been killed or are still missing – cementing this as the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century.

This tragedy should be heartbreaking for all people – but for Californians, it hits even closer to home. 

We've lived through devastating wildfires. We've seen thousands of acres of our forests go up in flames and the homes of our fellow citizens destroyed. We understand – and we know that we must do everything we can to help our Pacific neighbors recover.

That's why I'm making a donation to the Hawai'i Community Foundation – and I'm counting on you to join me as well.

So please, John, will you donate any amount that you can spare to HRC to fund their efforts to help the devastated communities in Maui recover?
