Friend,

One year ago, the Inflation Reduction Act was signed into law thanks to 220 Democratic votes in the House, 50 Democratic votes in the Senate, and Vice President Kamala Harris’ tie-breaking vote. Not a single House or Senate Republican voted for the legislation.

Despite Republican opposition, the Inflation Reduction Act has had an incredible first year. Our landmark legislation:

Set the United States on track to cut carbon emissions by 32% by 2030 and 51% by 2035.

Incentivized a reinvestment in U.S. manufacturing by focusing on clean energy technologies. Eighty new manufacturing facilities have opened – the same amount as the previous seven years combined -- and 300,000 new clean energy jobs have been added to the U.S. Economy.

Set up homeowners and renters to save thousands of dollars through rebates and tax credits to support the transition to clean energy appliances and vehicles.

But, if Republicans win big in 2024, we can kiss this progress goodbye.

The only way to ensure these investments lead to the progress that supports Americans and our planet is by ensuring Democrats win in 2024.

We are making real progress for our climate and for every day Americans -- and we cannot stop now. It is time to double down on protecting our climate, and double down on our effort to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2024. [[link removed]]

It’s up to us,
