Friend, One year ago, the Inflation Reduction Act was signed into law thanks to 220 Democratic votes in the House, 50 Democratic votes in the Senate, and Vice President Kamala Harris’ tie-breaking vote. Not a single House or Senate Republican voted for the legislation.
Despite Republican opposition, the Inflation Reduction Act has had an incredible first year. Our landmark legislation: But, if Republicans win big in 2024, we can kiss this progress goodbye.
The only way to ensure these investments lead to the progress that supports Americans and our planet is by ensuring Democrats win in 2024. We are making real progress for our climate and for everyday Americans – and we cannot stop now. It is time to double down on protecting our climate, and double down on our effort to elect Democrats up and down the ballot in 2024. It’s up to us,
