Aloha Friends & Neighbors
We are excited to announce The Listening Tour beginning on August 31.
We are 'flipping the script' and instead of the normal town hall, we are asking you what your top concerns are. We are providing a survey to work out what you think about us as well as the entire House of Representatives. We want you to be heard! We plan to take your concerns and build our Bill Package for
the upcoming 2024 Session beginning in January.
You set the agenda by sending us questions as well as taking our survey.

The Royal Standard
In a historic ceremony on Monday, July 23, 2023, the Return of the Royal Standard marked a momentous occasion in Hawaiian history. Representative Diamond Garcia and distinguished guests gathered to witness the return of the flag that once belonged to Queen Lili'uokalani, symbolizing her powerful presence over 'Iolani Palace and Washington Place.

Lost for 130 years following the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom in 1893, the Royal Standard resurfaced two years ago at an auction. Thanks to the estate of Princess Abigail Kawananakoa, which purchased the flag for $60,000, the historic symbol has finally returned home. While displayed to the public on Monday, July 23, 2023, the flag will now be carefully preserved in a climate-controlled vault, ensuring it remains a treasured emblem of Hawaiian heritage for generations to come.
