  # [#]John,

When deciding to run for Congress, the experiences and stories of my patients motivated me. From the hospital frontlines, I’ve seen the impact of our nation’s epidemic of gun violence, the crisis of healthcare affordability, and attacks on reproductive freedom. Time and time again, my career in medicine has been defined by systems that fail my patients, so now I am answering the call to serve.

I have seen firsthand what is at stake, and as a political appointee in Dallas, and as a policy advisor in Washington, D.C. I've been inspired by what is possible. To create real change, we need a bold leader to fight for you and your family – for affordable healthcare, for your reproductive rights, and to protect our communities from the danger of gun violence.

These are the issues that drove me to run for office. But at this point in the campaign, I now want to hear about the issues that matter most to you most. Because I value service before self–an ethos I internalized from my earliest days as a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy. I am running to make sure your voices are heard in Congress, and I look forward to reading all of your responses.

I want to know what’s on your mind, John, because your voice is front and center in our campaign. Let me know the issues you care about by filling out this brief survey. [[link removed]]
