John,
Throughout my career on the frontlines, I’ve seen too much preventable death and suffering due to firearms. It is what inspired me to run for Congress and fight for change — to end the human toll of gun violence.
More than 25,000 people have died from gun violence this year already, and there are still 141 days left in 2023. We’re also on track to surpass the previous record for most mass shootings in a year. We can no longer ignore that the epidemic of gun violence is only getting worse.
We are not powerless to create life-saving change. Will you sign this petition to stand with me in the fight against gun violence?
I have told too many mothers and fathers they would never see their child alive again due to gun violence. I’m running for Congress because I believe no parent should ever have to hear such devastating news.
That’s why I’m committed to advocating for meaningful gun safety reform as a representative in Congress. If you’re with me, will you sign your name today?
– Brian
