** Most adult donor-inseminated offspring of lesbian parents satisfied with level of contact with sperm donors
------------------------------------------------------------
The latest report from the National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study ([link removed]) examines the relationships between 75 adult donor-inseminated offspring of lesbian parents and their sperm donors. More than half of the offspring (40) knew their donors.

Offspring who had contacted their donor since age 18 got along well with him, did not view him as a relative, and had told most family members about their contact. However, whether the donor was unknown or known, most offspring were satisfied with their contact level.
