Annual Canvass
I would like to remind people that the 2023 annual canvass is in progress and our Electoral Services team is contacting every household in Nottingham to ensure that our Electoral Register is accurate. This will be either by email, text or letter:
* *Email / text:* If we have your email address or phone number, we will have contacted you asking to confirm your household details online instead of posting you a form. The email will come from
[email protected] <
[email protected]>. THIS IS NOT SPAM. Please check your inbox.
* *Paper form:* If we don't have your email address or phone number or you don't respond to our initial contact, you will receive a paper form [ [link removed] ] through the post. If the form asks you to respond, then it is important to do so to ensure that you can have your say at future elections. Where possible, please try to respond online or, alternatively, you can post the form back to us.
Please respond to the form if it asks you to, or if there have been any changes to your details. The quickest and easiest way to do this is online [ [link removed] ] ? it should only take about five minutes.

Solar power boost for tennis in Nottingham
tennis centre solar
We recently visited Nottingham Tennis Centre to see how solar panels are helping to save money on bills and reduce the site?s carbon footprint.
The City Council and the Lawn Tennis Association set up a Power Purchase Agreement which allows the tennis centre to benefit from the renewable energy produced by the panels.
In one year, the solar panels generated over 100,000kWh of energy, which is enough to power around 37 homes. The installation avoids 20 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year ? supporting Nottingham's ambition to be a carbon neutral city by 2028.
Organisations across the city can get involved with Nottingham?s ambition to be carbon neutral by joining the We Support campaign. Find out more here [ [link removed] ].
