I wanted to reach out to say thank you.

I have always known that as a first-time candidate, our campaign’s
viability would be judged in part by the amount of funds we are able to
raise. And although we did well in the second quarter, I knew we would
have to keep it up to win this race.

Summer is the hardest time to raise money, but you stepped up and for that
I am incredibly grateful.

Unlike some of our opponents, I cannot self-finance my campaign. So I am
going to continue to work hard every day between now and the election to
earn every dollar donated and every vote cast. I hope I can count on your
continued support as well.

Because even though we just passed our July fundraising deadline, we are
already looking toward our August goal next.
