I have always known that as a first-time candidate, our campaign’s viability would be judged in part by the amount of funds we are able to raise. And although we did well in the second quarter, I knew we would have to keep it up to win this race.
Summer is the hardest time to raise money, but you stepped up and for that I am incredibly grateful.
