The Justice Lab has filed more than 50 cases so far to put racist policing on trial – providing legal support for clients including Anthony Monroe, who was beaten by two Louisiana state troopers during a traffic stop.

"You shouldn't have freedom to abuse people like that in the United States no matter where you live," Anthony told the ACLU.
