Hey there, this is Alyssa Bradley.

[link removed] [[link removed]]Growing up, my Mom was never afraid to let us be who we were. There were no boxes put on us as kids, she accepted and loved us unconditionally – a trait that she also brings into her career.

I remember doing positive affirmations with my Mom and brother, especially before school. She’d look at each of us and say:

“I’m proud of you. Are you proud of you?”

And we’d say back:

“I’m proud of me. Are you proud of you, mom?”

Well Mom, I’ve never been more proud of you. I can’t wait to see you make history again and become the first woman and person of color to represent Delaware in the Senate.
