Legalizing medical marijuana will help treat people suffering from Alzheimer’s, epilepsy, AIDS, ALS, nausea caused by chemotherapy drugs, and more. That’s why 38 states and D.C. already have. It’s time for NC to move into the future and do the same.

Decriminalizing the simple possession of marijuana will also have a huge benefit to North Carolinians. Right now, around 30,000 people a year are arrested for simple possession in our state, bogging down our legal system and hampering those folks’ ability to succeed in the future.

John, legalizing medical marijuana in the right way can grant much-needed relief to patients, while bringing new opportunities to North Carolina farmers.
