Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be a sea turtle swimming through the open ocean,
Friend? Just imagine flapping your flippers while gliding across the gentle current
just below the waves…

Sea turtles are easily one of the most beloved marine animals, and our oceans
just wouldn’t be the same without these treasured reptiles. But sadly, nearly
all species of this precious animal are classified as vulnerable, endangered, or even critically endangered — meaning sea turtles are at serious risk of EXTINCTION.

Human impact is one of the single biggest causes of sea turtles deaths — and that includes PLASTIC POLLUTION , which is responsible for killing OVER A MILLION marine species every year. Friend, sea turtles and other vulnerable marine animals

[[link removed]]Just one single piece of plastic can KILL a sea turtle. Plastic poses a threat to sea turtles at every stage of life — from crawling through plastic waste on the beach as hatchlings, to swimming
through it, to mistaking it for food. These innocent sea turtles become entangled, suffocate, and often choke and die from all the rampant plastic overtaking the ocean.

EVERY SINGLE MINUTE , an entire garbage truck’s worth of plastic is dumped into our oceans,
threatening to WIPE OUT precious marine life like dolphins, sea turtles, and coral reefs.
Friend, if plastic pollution continues at this rate, it
could literally destroy our entire planet in what experts are calling the PLASTIC APOCALYPSE.

Meanwhile, greedy plastic corporations and their friends in the fossil fuel
industry continue to rake in profits without any regard for their environmental
destruction. Industrial-size plastics factories spew alarming amounts of toxic pollutants and global-warming emissions into our atmosphere , disproportionately leaving the nearby BIPOC communities to bear the brunt of
the serious health risks.

Friend, we can’t let Big Plastic and Big Oil continue
putting our planet in danger. But time is running out to STOP THE PLASTIC APOCALYPSE — and it’s going to take A LOT of grassroots willpower to convince the Biden administration to stand up to
