Multiple news outlets and fundraising analysts are reporting that grassroots fundraising has fallen off sharply across the board for political campaigns and nonprofits – as much as 50% compared to the first half of 2021 according to one firm’s analysis.
This trend is affecting EVERY campaign, both Democrat and Republican, at every level.
This news is a real wake-up call, because the universal decline in grassroots giving means more candidates are going to turn to corporate PACs to fund their campaigns – especially presidential candidates.
Marianne fully opposes corporate money in politics and has called for public financing of elections, because the power of your political speech should never be defined by the contents of your bank account.

We do have some good news: While the overall trend for grassroots fundraising is on the decline, support for our campaign continues to grow. Already our small dollar donations are up by nearly 20% over June.
