REGISTER County Board adopts AED Innovation Fund Seed Grant Program On July 18, the County Board adopted the framework for the Arlington Innovation Fund Catalyst Grant Program. The grant program, to be run by Arlington Economic Development (AED), is designed to encourage the growth and sustained success of tech startups by providing access to seed capital in the early stages of a startup’s lifecycle. REGISTER Metro Wants Your Input On Future of Blue, Organize, and Silver Lines Metro is now seeking public input on six proposed alternatives to address capacity, reliability, and customer needs on the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines. These alternatives are long-term investments in Metro, and designed to plan ahead for the Metro corridors in the decades to come. Possible alternatives include Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines, a Silver Line Express, a second Rosslyn station and tunnel, direct connections to Union Station, and Metro service to National Harbor.
