Metro Wants Your Input On Future of Blue, Organize, and Silver Lines
Metro is now seeking public input on six proposed alternatives to address capacity, reliability, and customer needs on the Blue, Orange, and Silver lines. These alternatives are long-term investments in Metro, and designed to plan ahead for the Metro corridors in the decades to come. Possible alternatives include Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lines, a Silver Line Express, a second Rosslyn station and tunnel, direct connections to Union Station, and Metro service to National Harbor. Learn more about the proposed alternatives here.
Metro is hosting hybrid meetings for the public to learn more, with the next meeting scheduled for Tuesday, July 25 at Arlington Central Library, 1015 Quincy St., Arlington VA 22201. Register here. The public can provide feedback through the online survey here. The comment period ends September 30.
