Conversion therapy has been shown to pose serious health risks, and we should be protecting all of our children, including those who identify as LGBTQ, instead of subjecting them to a dangerous practice.

Yesterday I signed an executive order preventing taxpayer money being used this practice.

It's one more step in our journey together to end discrimination in all its forms across North Carolina. And I will keep fighting the Repulican legislature for a law that bans conversion therapy altogether, with or without tax money.

North Carolina is a welcoming state, and conversion therapy has no place in our state.
