Friend,

The United States has one of the lowest voter turnout rates [[link removed]] among developed countries in the world. That’s unacceptable.

Sign here to support making Election Day a federal holiday, and ensure that everyone who wants to vote, can vote. [[link removed]]

Voting is our right and our duty. But it’s not always easy. Too often, people face long lines, crowded and under-staffed polling locations, and struggle to juggle voting with daily responsibilities like work, school, childcare, and care taking.

The solution is simple. It’s time to make Election Day a federal holiday.

An Election Day holiday is not just about making a stronger and more inclusive democracy. It’s about celebrating what makes our country great. Not just our elected leaders, past and present, but the everyday people -- from the Revolutionary War to the Civil Rights movement -- who fought for and won the right to vote.

Sign here to support Election Day as a federal holiday. [[link removed]]

In Solidarity,
