As a recovering computer science major, I'm enthralled by artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential. At the same time, I am fully aware that if left unchecked and unregulated, this technology can be dangerous.





AI is a tool, and at this critical moment, Congress must make sure that we use it to benefit and not harm our society.





That's why I'm proposing a nonpartisan AI Commission, composed of a wide array of experts, to make recommendations to Congress about what kinds of AI should be regulated, how we should go about it,?and what standards should apply.?
