John,
Hi, it’s Jane Fonda. I’m reaching out with an important question: Do you know a climate champion who should run for local office?
The Jane Fonda Climate PAC is working with Lead Locally – an organization committed to electing leaders at the local and state level who pledge to fight back against the fossil fuel industry.
If you know someone who should consider running for office, nominate them to join Lead Locally’s new virtual training program this summer.
Nominate a friend or someone you know today to sign up for Lead Locally’s virtual Run for Climate leadership training!

Every year, there are crucial elections across the country that will determine the future of the fight against the climate crisis. And local elections play a crucial role in setting the stage for the fight against the fossil fuel industry as we race against time to protect our planet.
Leaders at the local level including our mayors, city councilors, county supervisors, commissioners, district attorneys, controllers, and every other elected or appointed office has the best opportunity to stop new fossil fuel projects in your neighborhood. That’s why we need as many climate champions at every level to pass effective climate legislation.
Nominate someone you know to secure their spot for Lead Locally’s virtual training!

Let’s fight like hell together to protect our planet,
Jane Fonda
