Leaders at the local level including our mayors, city councilors, county supervisors, commissioners, district attorneys, controllers, and every other elected or appointed office has the best opportunity to stop new fossil fuel projects in your neighborhood. That’s why we need as many climate champions at every level to pass effective climate legislation.
