Women across TN and KS are defined and their spaces are protected.
Friend,
Today, our Women’s Bill of Rights law that passed in the 2022-23 legislation session in Kansas and Tennessee goes into effect.

Now, 4.9 million Kansas and Tennessee women’s private spaces and opportunities are protected. And hundreds of laws that already use sex-based words — like ‘woman’ and ‘man’ — now have definitions and meaning.

This is a monumental win for women, but we have only touched the tip of the iceberg. There are 160M more women across the nation whose states have not defined basic sex-based words or protected women’s most vulnerable spaces and opportunities. There is much more work to do.
