Federal agencies are allowing 20 logging projects to move forward in mature and old-growth forests. That's on top of the last two centuries of logging on public lands -- which reduced most of America's once-abundant old-growth forests to stumps.[1]

Many of our oldest trees could be erased in an instant, but it's not too late to act. The Biden administration can choose to protect mature and old-growth trees on federal land, rather than selling them off to the timber industry.
