Throughout our lives, I’ve always been amazed by Callie’s energy and tenacity. When she sets her mind to something, she gets it done.

When I returned home from war, Callie gave me the push I needed to finally talk to my doctors about all my symptoms. And once I got a diagnosis, she fought every day to get me the care I needed for my brain injury and PTSD.

When she went to U of M to earn a law degree, she juggled being a mom, a student, and a veterans advocate all at once.

And when people told her it would be impossible to unseat Rep. Jack Bergman, she got to work.

Throughout our lives, I’ve watched my wife refuse to back down from challenges others might say is too difficult. And that’s exactly the kind of leadership we need in Congress.
