Hi John,

Less than three days. 60 hours, to be exact. That's how long we have
left until the mid-year deadline. Here is the link to contribute

but I wanted to take a moment to outline our political predicament.

Simply put, this is a pivotal moment. Our Mid-Year Report will be
scrutinized closely by the DCCC and potential opponents as they size up
their chances in the approaching election. Based on how we do, the race
will take one of two paths:

(1) The Democrats will sense an opening, recruit a formidable candidate,
and spend many millions. At that point, we would have a major battle on
our hands, one requiring immense resources with control of the House
potentially hanging in the balance. OR:

(2) The Democrats will see that any such effort would be futile, because
we have the strength and resources to fend off any challenge. We will be
well on our way to locking up the seat and putting the GOP on the path
to retaining and expanding the Majority.
