Our movement just scored a major, historic victory for democracy in
Oregon.

Oregon is the first state in American history to pass a statewide Ranked
Choice Voting (RCV) bill through a state legislature—and it’s already on
its way to voters for final approval in November 2024!

This massive development is proof: when we all pitch in, conservatives and
progressives, city by city, state by state, we can do huge things like
this.

The last few days have been a whirlwind. Take it from Anna Scanlon, a
RepresentUs Campaign Advisor who directed our overall efforts in Oregon:

Our movement turned out for this moment in a huge way. We activated
hundreds of volunteers in key State Senate districts to make thousands of
calls, send tens of thousands of text messages, and give written testimony
to the Oregon state legislature in support of the RCV bill.

Now it will be up to the voters in Oregon in 2024 when final approval of
RCV will be on the ballot. You better believe we’ll be there, too.
