Comrades and Friends,

We're happy to have had a lively general meeting, with a very productive discussion on housing issues in the city of Santa Fe. We also voted to financially support the New Mexico delegation to the DSA National Convention, which is coming up in early August. We look forward to comrades from Santa Fe and New Mexico to engage in larger national conversations about the socialist movement and the strategies needed to fight and win against the billionaire class.

This Saturday, July 1, at 4:30, we'll be knocking doors for Miguel Acosta, a democratic socialist running for city council in District 3! We'll be meeting up at the YMCA Parking Lot at Zona Del Sol, at 6600 Valentine Way. If you live in District 3, please consider donating to Miguel at santafepcf.com ([link removed])



We're continuing our work in support of UPS Teamsters as they continue their struggle for a fair contract. We are planning to engage in larger scale public outreach on these issues. If you haven't already, please sign DSA's Strike Ready pledge ([link removed]) .
As usual, we will be having our reading group this Saturday, 10 AM at Larragoite Park. In light of the ongoing UPS solidarity campaign, we will be beginning the book "Class Struggle Unionism" by Joe Burns. For this week, we'll be reading Chapter 3.
