Rep. Adam Schiff just absurdly claimed on local TV that his record is
“more progressive than [Rep. Katie] Porter” as they compete for
California’s U.S. Senate seat.

The facts say otherwise. We have them below.

[ [link removed] ]Can you chip in to Katie Porter’s campaign to help her get TRUTHFUL
information to California voters – and claim this seat for progressives?

(Want to press pause on CA Senate emails for a few months? Let us know
[ [link removed] ]here.)

No matter what you think of him, Adam Schiff was nowhere to be found as
the Biden White House was working with leaders like Katie Porter to push
progressive priorities like child care, elder care, climate investment,
lower price prescriptions, and taxing billionaires.

The top story when one Googles "Adam Schiff" "Build Back Better" is about
Schiff [ [link removed] ]commenting after passage of the bill in the House. That is a
stark contrast to Katie Porter’s advocacy during the big fight for
[ [link removed] ]climate provisions, [ [link removed] ]child care, and [ [link removed] ]progressive taxation.

Showing up for the final vote is not impressive. Playing a leadership role
behind the scenes and making the public case for progressive priorities is
impressive -- and what Katie Porter does consistently. [ [link removed] ]Katie fights for
you – please support her today.

We’ll have more to say about Adam Schiff’s record on Trump, where [ [link removed] ]a new
book details how he undermined Jamie Raskin and those pushing for
accountability every step of the way before jumping on stage at the end to
take credit.

But on progressive economic policy, here’s more about Schiff’s record:

* He’s consistently [ [link removed] ]voted against unions and [ [link removed] ]labor.
* He’s taken millions in [ [link removed] ]corporate PAC money from industries like
[ [link removed] ]Big Oil, [ [link removed] ]Big Pharma, [ [link removed] ]Wall Street, [ [link removed] ]Payday lenders, and
[ [link removed] ]Fox News, while Porter does not.
* He continues to take corporate lobbyist money, while Porter does not.
* He’s never once voted for a [ [link removed] ]Progressive Caucus budget.
* He joined Congress as a [ [link removed] ]conservative Blue Dog, and even held a
leadership role.
* He never joined the [ [link removed] ]Progressive Caucus, which Katie Porter has
helped lead.

Californians deserve -- and all Americans need -- a progressive warrior in
the Senate who will stand up to corporations and the political
establishment. [ [link removed] ]That is Katie Porter – please support her campaign with
$3 or more here.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.
