For 100 years, Texas State Parks have offered tens of millions of parkgoers the chance to relax, rejuvenate, explore and embrace the awe-inspiring wild beauty that only Texas can contain. Texas is a state beyond compare, offering salty ocean bays, Texas-sized sandhills, one grand canyon and a most enchanted rock, tall mountain peaks, low-lying marshes and almost any terrain you can imagine.
Anyone who has visited any one of our nearly 90 Texas State Parks understands the priceless wonder and awe these wild places can provide. Each and every park strives to meet or exceed the needs of its visitors and the surrounding community by offering unforgettable experiences based on visitor requests and feedback. Texas State Parks do an amazing job of providing engaging, high-quality programming, but not every project can be implemented within the existing state budget. That?s why Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF) worked with state park superintendents to identify much-needed projects for each park. We are raising $2 million [ [link removed] ] to bring these projects to fruition and help our parks bloom for the next 100 years.
