This year, Pride feels a bit different. There are a record number of anti-LGTBQ+ bills moving through Republican-controlled state legislatures — including bills to separate trans kids from their affirming parents, deny trans people gender-affirming care, ban drag, and prevent conversations about LGBTQ+ people and stories in schools.

That's why I am raising money for the LGBT Center; they have been at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQ+ justice for over 20 years.
