Protect Trans Kids!
Over the past year, 19 states have proposed or passed gender-affirming care bans – bans that will negatively affect trans youth. Bigots do not care that gender-affirming care is lifesaving. [[link removed]] Every LGBTQ+ official we get elected is another vote, voice, and leader against such harmful bills.
U.S. Representatives Becca Balint hit the airwaves this week to drive this message home. Becca highlighted that bigots are targeting the LGBTQ+ community, especially trans folks, because “fear sells.” [[link removed]]
