Friend,
<[link removed]>Whether you ride the bus every day, once in a while, or only a few times a year, big changes are coming. That's because WMATA's redesigning our Metrobus system for the first time in its 50-year history. That's a big deal, and it's good news -- the District's neighborhoods have changed a lot in the past 50 years, and we need a bus network ready for both today and tomorrow.
I want to know what you would change, you like (that's important too!), and any other ideas you have.
The proposed "Better Bus Network <[link removed]>" plan includes modified and new routes, upgraded facilities, additional bus lanes, and more. It's worth the time to take a look, as it's more than likely your regular routes and trips will be impacted (you can see exactly how here with WMATA's trip planner <[link removed]>).
Before the comment period closes later this month, I'll be providing feedback to WMATA. And I want to hear what you think about the plan to inform that feedback — so join me next week to discuss the proposed changes to Ward 6 bus routes, ask questions, and comment on the plans. RSVP here. <[link removed]>

P.S. - If you can't make it Wednesday night, you can still get me your feedback right now on this form <[link removed]>. I'll take what I hear and see from the town hall and this form to help craft my official recommendations to WMATA.
