House Bill 4474 threatens your right to freedom of speech. It amends Michigan's existing Ethnic Intimidation law and expands it to criminalize "hate speech." It was recently introduced alongside HB 4475, which would make hate speech a felony. The language proposed in these bills clearly violates the First Amendment and our religious liberty.
