The Trump-Pence administration has released a series of rules that would allow taxpayer funding through agencies, including the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), to be awarded to religious organizations that could be permitted to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community, women, and religious minorities; withhold critical information about a beneficiaries civil rights; and potentially require those in need of care or assistance to participate in religious programming.
